Wael Ghomin's TED Talk

The Wael Ghomim's Ted Talk had strong true points like having positive impacts and Negative Impacts in the world around us. The positive impact is that its great for communication, work uses, and internet access for fun like games. The negative impacts are that there is cyberbully, hacking ppl or things, and addictions to something.

On the Ted talk this man named Wael Ghomim talked about the 5 critical challenges facing social media in today's media. The first challenge one is dealing with rumors. Rumors are a big thing on social media because mostly teens hear a rumor about a person that maybe true or false. Rumors spread to one person to another and it could hurt someone. Challenge 2 is the ability to block. On social media you have the ability to block, unfriend someone, and mute someone you dislike or other reason. The 3rd challenge is that social media has people blinded for example if you and your friend got in a fight on a conversation you start to forget the person behind the screen as in your friend could be sorry but your to busy being mad to understand. Challenge 4 is opinions. Opinions could be agreed or disagreed but to social media its different because if someone asks you a option and you have to choose sides other people can disagree and at the end what you say on the internet stays there. That means that other people won't forget what another person. The final challenge is the 5th one which is that people have different opinions. People will always have different opinions because one could agree on one thing or disagree on another there are many different reasons why.

Some suggestions that Wael Ghomin tells his audience is that,"Five years ago, I said, if you want to liberate society, all you need is the internet...Today I believe if we want to liberate society, we first need to liberate the internet. Some suggestion are making some things like an account where you have posts that can change someone and change the world for the better.

Conclusion is that there are many challenges but those 5 are the main ones that we can have control over if we do the right thing.

Personality Trait Test

 When i took my personality test on 16personslities.com I ended up with a INFP which is known as "The Mediator". It showed me my strengths and my weaknesses. My strengths that i had was being Idealistic, Seek and Value Harmony, Open-Minded and Flexible, Very Creative, Passionate and Energetic, Dedicated and Hard Working. I agree with these because i am open minded, creative, Flexible, Energetic and etc. Most of my friends know that because we are close to each other and are basically a tight group of friends. 

My Weaknesses are Too Idealistic, Too Altruistic, Impractical, Disliking dealing with data, Taking things to Personally, and Difficult to get to know. I agree with some of these because i some times take things personally and at times difficult to get to know. I disagree with being too idealistic because i don't go that over board and I am not impractical. 

INFP friends: The true friends of people with the INFP personality type tend to be few and far between, but those that make the cut are often friends for life. The challenge is the many dualities that this type harbors when it comes to being sociable – INFPs crave the depth of mutual human understanding, but tire easily in social situations; they are excellent at reading into others' feelings and motivations, but are often unwilling to provide others the same insight into themselves – it's as though INFPs like the idea of human contact, but not the reality of social contact. I agree with this because its true that i am a friend for life and that i can take any thing at anytime.

My career path is basically that: Some INFPs will prefer a still more personal touch, being able to work face-to-face with clients, seeing that their personal effort really impacts another's quality of life. Service careers such as massage therapy, physical rehabilitation, counselling, social work, psychology and even academic roles and retraining can be exceptionally rewarding for INFPs, who take pride in the progress and growth they help to foster. I disagree because some of those things i don't think i want to do. Also because i have other things in mind for my future. 
In conclusion the test was fun and long to take but at the end you get your results that can be true or not depending on you. Over all i am happy with the results i got because thats just who i am. 

Who Is Your Favorite Music Artist?

           My favorite music artist is Fergie, The Killers, and Red Hot Chilly Peppers so far. I like them because they have good music, their more party style for me, I could relate to those songs and because it gets me in a good mood.

I can relate to this because to me it means that I am not perfect and I am what I am. I am not a queen means that's I am not perfect and I am not a machine because machines get controlled and I don't like being controlled by anyone. I always have problems and more people keep adding on telling me things that I don't want to hear cause I don't want to get hurt.

The Killers Biography:

          The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001, by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning. Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. would complete the current line-up of the band in 2002. The Killers have been referred to as various genres, including alternative rock, indie rock, post-punk revival, new wave and heartland rock.

This means that the I did my best to notice until the time came and sometimes I surrender and I did what I had to do out of kindness. Sometimes I get nervous when I see an open door because it can be a door of success or failure and I have to find out. So I have to close my eyes and see what is in store for me and yolo it. This lyric means to me that nobody knows the other side of me because they are used to the one side of me. The second line means that nobody knew that other people try to prove other people who they are and go over their limits. The third line means that its true that its hard to say goodbye. The fourth line means that its true and you cant really say it until the other person figures it out on their own. The fifth line means that the more the push the faded areas of you can unlock the gift within you and do it now then save it for later.

Digital Citizen

Digital Citizen ship means that a person is utilizing technology information. Digital Citizqen ship means being good online. It means that the person who uses it regularly and effectavily.

          The technology i regularly use is my phone, laptop, xbox, wii, and ipad mostly. I use those things mostly for social media , video games, communication, and google search. 2 advantages is that its a type of communication and you can basically do anything. 2 disavantages is for it is that poeple can get cyberbullied at anytime and another thing is that you could get hacked and viruses from websites.

           2 aspects of digital citizenship is that I am responsible online and I am being respectful online to others. I do that because its right and not compicated to follow it an every day thing. 2 aspects that i do not do well is not following the directions and not being really careful on the surroundings. I could improve from this is by being really careful on the website surroundings and following the directions.

        I will use technology as a student by followig the directions, being careful, responsible, and respectful. Probably use apps thats keep me healthy. Technology can help me in the future by helping me research and etc.

Today is National Inventors Day

This quote from Thomas Edison means that how much we want to give up that will always be our weakness but the best was to succeed is that you have to try no matter what to be the best. Everyone had experienced giving up on so many things and its hard to try but you try any ways. This quote is valuable because its true that people give up on many things in life but if you want to succeed you have to try just at least one more time. In my experience I have gave up so many times that after wards I regret everything and just move. At other times I don't give up and keep trying until is all right.

Dear Middle School Self

Dear Middle School Self,
           
                                       Yup its 10 years from now I've grown up. You know those dreams i had when you were in middle school and you lived up to the potential? Well now i am working at a tech and science lab and its amazing. I've got my head start and now I'm where i am supposed to be its nice. My hobbies is to climb trees,play sports, skate, and etc. I live in Hartford, Connecticut. The last past 10 years i have been studying and working hard in school.The advice i will give you is work hard play hard you do what you have to do dont worry about anyone else except for you. Since middle school I've changed a lot because I'm wiser, know more information about things, and I've figured ways to do things than the common ways. I'm excited about how my life would be and how I will work now to be better. Like Wiz Khalifa said ,"Work hard play hard...the bigger the bill the harder you ball.

If you could end any one problem in the world, what would it be?"

One problem i see in the world is racism and the problem effects that people from a type of race gets bullied like called specific names that they call the other person.If the problem continues everyone would be in a type of war against each other. A solution to the problem is that people should be in peace and be nicer to each other than tear each other down to their limits.This problem is important for the people to know abut it because on social media, public, or in school there is some people that make comments about what each other do. The comments could be racist because it could be about the persons traits or the culture they are from.This problem is important to me because it could happen to anyone by experience or recently. To help work towards fixing the problems everyone can be in okay with each other.
